My personal journey of loving my body and loving my art blends simultaneously in Creatoraine digital art. Practicing digital art feels like being able to bring the images, and movement, and colour in my head into a fully realized art piece. It became an artistic expression that not only uplifted me, but also uplifts my friends and people who commission portraits. I want to show the beauty of the body in all its forms. I want to show the beauty of colour and the imagination. My intention with Creatoraine is to manifest positivity, vibrancy, and self love through art.

These illustrations, and this style, was how I first started to explore digital art. Since then, I have developed my digital art skills and my growth and progress shows. Planets, moons, plants, and flowers are all things in Nature that inspire me. The body inspires me as well. I use Procreate on iPad and the Apple Pencil to draw these illustrations/portraits.
FANTASY PORTRAITS AND CULTURESCAPES

Throughout my life, I have felt a connection to fairies and mythic creatures. Something about their delicate, small, feminine (and sometimes masculine), and discrete manner in combination with the trickery, illusion, and empowered sense of what is just are qualities I admire. Fairy folk teach us about reality by moving through the fantasy (what we deem to not be real), so I work with this idea to empower oneself within our lived realities, and to express the balance and chaos within all creation.
In connection and contrast, my Culturescapes specifically point to the imbalances between our perceived lived realities and the true implications and entanglements. I especially aim to illustrate the ones hidden in plain sight.
